12x12" oil on masonite
I had to work for this one. I painted this from an image taken at the Gap on Market Street. There were several times early on when I didn't think it was going to work. I just kept going though, and somewhere in the process it sort of worked out.
Michsel ithis is really an interesting painting. Great composition, bright clean palette, unexpected content. I always enjoy seeing what you've done and have learned a lot about economical shadows from your work. Thank you!

I like how your work has changed - the earlier work is direct, like a sketch, and now it's fleshed out, but still has that direct appeal - inspirational!
