"Brushes" - SOLD


These aren't very good brushes to paint with but they make fun paintings subjects. They're pretty old I think... from the seventies. They were given to me recently and I wasn't sure what to do with them since the bristles were in pretty bad shape. I think I'll keep em around for a while.

    Very nice use of old dried up paintbrushes! Great light and color in the shadows here.

    I agree with Linda,you beautifully painted the metal part.Loved the subtle highlights and shadows.These brushes did make a lovely subject to paint.

    Thanks! For some reason metal seems intimidating to paint. I have to remind myself to paint the colors and shapes I see and not think "Yikes, I'm painting metal!"

    I love this. I just bought some new brushes and wondered do old brushes ever get tossed? Glad you still had these.
