What a cool painting, Mike. I love the way you painted the buildings and the sky is a gorgeous blue. This is a really nice cityscape.
Love these colors. You are so good at taking a complicated scenes and taking them down to simple and beautiful shapes. Love your work!
Yes I agree with Linda. Simplifying scenes is what gives them so much strength, and that is not so easy to do!!! Really enjoy your work!
Thanks Fay, I just started using thalo blue again, the sky is thalo and titanium white. I love thalo but it has a way of getting everywhere!
Thanks Linda, I'm glad you appreciate my efforts to simplify. Those buildings in the background were certainly intimidating at first. I decided to use very limited colors, squint and hope for the best!

Wonderful color harmony, composition and movement! Loved viewing it as a thumbnail which, if a painting is working, tells the tale.
