6x6" oil on Gessobord
This is my entry to the DPW "White on White" challenge. It was painted from a photo posted by Ann Feldman. The real challenge for me was painting the whole egg. I painted it no less than a dozen times! I love the look of white on white so I really enjoyed this challenge.

I like the simplicity of this scene. I am really impressed with how you were able to give the bowl and jar dimension. I especially like how you captured the texture of the bowl. As a new painter I am really struggling with that myself.
great exercise for all artists, whites are so difficult and eggs are really a challenge, you achieved a nice softness and form to the egg and shells. Nicely done...
