"Tequila"

6x6" oil on Gessobord

It didn't occur to me until later that these peppers appear to have had a bit too much to drink. I just sorta tossed em' on the table, poured a shot of tequila and ran with it. I didn't drink the shot, though I enjoyed the aroma while painting. I think this is the final in my cocktail series.

You like the smell of tequila? Maybe too many bad memories for me. Really like your cocktail series. Love your palette and brushwork. As I have said many times before....so fresh!

Thanks Carol! It sorta surprised me that I enjoyed the smell, I guess it beats the smell of mineral spirits!

The cocktail paintings have all been great and are sure to be popular at your show. I kind of hate to see them end, especially without a gin and tonic.
Your paintings keep getting better and I love the brushwork and colors.
