"Plums On Edge"

Here's one of the plum paintings I forgot to post. The past few days I've been working on some challenging subjects. The first is a white teapot. I had to paint it four times to get it to look right! I'll post it tomorrow. The other is a string of chinese lanterns. I won't be posting that one, it isn't quite there yet. I'll keep trying!

They look like they are having a little conversation there on the edge! Great color and shadows!

I know what you mean Denise, it looks like they're trying to decide who's going to jump first!

You bring up a good point Anne. I'm having trouble working it all in. Last night I was up painting until 2am! I'm hoping that I'll get quicker at these little paintings but the truth is they take as long for me to do as an 8x10 or 9x12. So I'm still working on the whole scheduling thing. I've got the same full platter of work, family and exercise so I know what you mean. For now I've given up exercise and sleep!
