I found this rose colored glass plate in my dining room cabinet but I'm not sure how it got there. The apples are the ones I picked back in September at my daughter's school. I plan on keeping these little guys around for as long as I can. I wonder how long they're gonna last... a year maybe?! It wouldn't be my first experience with this sort of thing, I once had a pumpkin on my front porch for a whole year.

Very nice Mike! I love the glass plate. It is a good color combo with the apples. And I once had a Christmas tree on my back porch in June! haha! We waited too long to take it to the curb, then were too embarrassed to do it when it got to be spring! Finally ground it up for compost ourselves!
What a great story! I suppose I should consider being embarrassed by the pumpkin that's sitting on my porch this very moment. As for the Christmas tree, I did manage to get it out of the house and onto the curb new years morning.
I had a plate like this...nice job on the glass!
