"Pink All Star" - SOLD

This is NOT my sneaker. Not that there is anything wrong with a man wearing pink shoes.

Ok.. on a more serious note,  I've had trouble photographing my paintings since I started laying on the thick paint. I seem to be getting more glare than I used to. I'm contemplating using a scanner instead of a camera. Has anyone done this? Would love some feedback.

When I was getting glare on my photos, I was told to make sure the flash was off, shooting outside on the north side of a building was best, and make sure the painting and the lens are parallel. If its in the sun or near a bright light, there will be alot of reflection. So bright but indirect light is best. Hope this helps. The paintings are looking good Mike!

Hi Mike, really enjoying your blog! I recently purchased one of the photo cubes with lights on ebay. Not quite as good as the lighting on the north side of a building but a great alternative. I leave it set up and so far i've had good results.

Thanks Lori, I may have to look into one of those photo cubes. Glad you're enjoying my blog!
